Please Join Us to Announce SNEP Grants in Massachusetts!
Location: Buttonwood Park, New Bedford, MA (meeting place to be announced)
Date & Time: Wednesday, Nov. 1 @ 1:00pm
Help us celebrate the Southeast New England Program’s (SNEP’s) 2023 grants to restore clean water, healthy ecosystems and sustainable communities throughout Massachusetts, including $1.5 million for SNEP Watershed Implementation Grants.
We’ll be joined by Congressman Bill Keating, EPA Regional Administrator David Cash, and New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell to announce new funding for municipalities, non-profits and other organizations working from Worcester to Cape Cod.
SNEP funding will support a variety of restoration projects, including urban stormwater and “green streets” projects, wetland and river restoration, and coastal resilience projects. At the event, we’ll introduce the grantees and provide more information on their work to restore our regional environment.
The event is free and open to the public, so please share this notice widely!
We look forward to seeing you there!
