The Southeast New England Program (SNEP) Network is pleased to invite you to our 5 Year Celebration Event! Join us to hear stories from community leaders and partners about our shared impact and accomplishments over the past 5 years. The celebration will feature a welcome video by Senator Reed, a keynote address from EPA’s SNEP Program, and SNEP Network partner presentations from the UNH Stormwater Center and the Blackstone Watershed Collaborative. The highlight of the event will be awards that recognize Rhode Island and Massachusetts communities for their work and achievements in the following categories:
The Multiplier Award to communities that have secured funding sources to advance their projects;
The Barrier Breaker Award to communities that overcame challenging obstacles;
The Bridge Builder Award to communities that excelled at outreach, engagement, and consensus building in their communities;
The Futures Award to communities that excelled at building their local capacity using the SNEP Network tools, training, and/or technical assistance.
Who Should Attend? Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a longtime partner or are joining us for the first time, we invite you to be a part of this celebration. Doors open at 8:30 AM for registration and light refreshments. The official program starts at 9:15 AM. We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces!
