Audubon Society of Rhode Island

The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is leading the development of the Providence Stormwater Innovation Center. They are developing training curricula to be delivered at Roger Williams Park, the site of the Innovation Center. Trainings will meet needs identified by RI Department of Environmental Management, RI Department of Transportation and municipal partners. These topics include green stormwater maintenance and construction management and oversight. The Audubon Society of Rhode Island is also implementing water quality monitoring to assess the environmental impacts of storm water practices and sharing their findings with the full network.

Brown University

Brown University is co-leading the Stew Map project with Rhode Island School of Design. Brown University and RISD will be creating a map and conducting an analysis of the social-ecological network of stewardship actors in the SNEP watershed. The map will be made available through presentations and, in year 3, on the US Forest Service StewMAP web-portal.
